When I put down a railroad crossing it does nothing and when I crafted it also did nothing. When I put the redstone torch down also nothing.
Please tell me if i'm doing something wrong or if this is a bug.

That should work, I don't know what's wrong here, what happens if you take away the torch?
-
Nothing

Nothing
Well that's really wierd...
I'll look into that.
MC Version?

1.7.2

I have got the same problem. In minecraft 1.7.2, the railRoad crossing doesn't close. Also with redstone, there is no movement. What are we doing wrong?

It's broken by the latest forge, wait for 1.7.10's update.

Thanks for this information. But unfortunetally, we will never update our server to 1.7.10, unless there are all of our mods ready for this version. I hope, it will work in the 1.8 update :)

There will be an update for 1.8 too eventually, and it should be fixed by then.

Could you pretty please backport whatever fix you come up with to 1.7.2? Some mods can take a long time to update, and many are *just* getting to 1.7.2. It would be a real PITA if the fix only exists for 1.7.10+
Also, could you look into for future versions trying to integrate this mod with Railcraft's signalling API? That way it would be easier to trigger a crossing with an oncoming train.

i know you are working on another mod but just to update crossings still not working in mc 1.7.10 with latest forge.

That's because this mod has not been updated since it's last 1.7.2 version.
I didn't change anything between 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 by the way, it just broke because of the update.
I have a 1.7.10 version almost ready to go in which the crossings work again, but because I'm busy with school and work it may take a while before it rolls out.
