I extracted the zipped pack into its own folder in the Minecraft mod folder, and deleted the zipped version just like the PMC mod article said

By the way, when you mean you don't have to delete meta-inf, does that mean it automatically deletes it, because if so, it didn't.
You don't have to delete the meta-inf, it doesn't have to delete the meta-inf, the meta-inf is important for the functioning of the game, forge actually puts it in there.
You haven't had to delete the meta-inf for a loooong time now actually, also been a while since I even saw someone talk about it.
That was actually Forge related but I'm helping you out here anyway.

Why did you extract it into it's own folder? The zip is not called EXTRACTTOFOLDER, it's called EXTRACTTHISHERE, in other words, no folder! Just extract right in the mods folder! No soup for mod!

Was it because i forgot to delete META-INF?

Deleting META-INF is something from 2012, you don't have to do that anymore.

Also, please use spoiler tags and try to refrain from double posting.

From what I can see it looks like you didn't unpack the zip.
This is known problem #1 on this post

Any updates about your LATL and RoadWorks Mod?

I'm unable to work on my mods as of now, since I have more things to do.
You must realise making mods is just a hobby, and not my main priority.

I am not adding Diagonal stripes, because I do not see the need for those.
And just a sidenote, but the 1.7.2 version works just fine on 1.7.10. (This goes for both LATL and RW)
Ok, but it is still a great suggestion though, especially if someone is building a diagonal road.
Based on what you said, are you implying that you may not release a 1.7.10 version at all? Just to remind you, your 1.7.2 versions of RW and LATL mod have some issues, though.

I have a great idea though...

"Diagonal Stripes Painter....:
When painted to a block, it will display diagonally instead of horizontal or vertical.
My suggestion is still "minecrafty" because the diagonal paint will act like a normal block.
Just like stripes paint, only with the word diagonal attached to it. :)"

Still wondering when would you release 1.7.10 of your roadworks mod. Honestly, I've been waiting for years, hehe.

Please don't double post, bumping is not necessary since your post is still on top.

I'm working on the sounds for the railroad crossings now.
Good! At least I know this mod's not forgotten.
